India's recent seam bowling sensation, Jasprit Bumrah has been providing India vital breakthroughs in almost all the three formats now.

The 24-year-old made his ODI debut in 2016 at Australia and since then has cemented his place in the team.

Bumrah has scalped 64 wickets ODI while has 43 T20I wickets at the average of 22 and 19 respectively. Adding to it, he has decent IPL figures as well. His good performances in the limited overs cricket earned him the Test call-up and he is currently serving India in the longer format as well.

Having an unorthodox action, the Gujrat cricketer claimed a five-wicket haul in India's victory at Trent Bridge in the ongoing tour of England.

Despite being a complete packaged bowler, Bumrah is often found struggling with his front-foot as the right-arm pacer keeps bowling no-balls.

Several times, Bumrah takes wickets off a no-ball, therefore costing himself and his team highly. In this article, we bring you the two matches that India lost because of Bumrah's no-ball error:

#1. India vs Pakistan, ICC Champions Trophy 2017 final

Pakistan pulled off a surprising yet huge victory against arch-rivals, India in the ICC Champions Trophy finals, largely due to Bumrah's no-ball.

In the match, India bowled first and Bumrah dismissed the dangerous Pakistan opener, Fakhar Zaman, in the fourth over of innings when he was playing on three. To Pakistan's luck, Jasprit had overstepped, giving Zaman a new life. He managed to take full advantage by scoring a match-winning century.

Pakistan won the match by mammoth 180 runs with Fakhar Zaman bagging player of the finals award.

Cricket pundits claimed that Bumrah's no ball was the main reason behind India's defeat.

#2 India vs Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka's tour of India 2017

It was Rohit Sharma's debut match as captain and hosts batted first in the first ODI of Sri Lanka's tour to India in 2017.

Men in Blue had a tough batting outing as visitors reduced them to 29-7. Then veteran MS Dhoni came to rescue, scoring crucial 65 runs that helped India post the total of 112.

In reply, Lankans were shifted to backfoot as India took 2 early wickets with just 19 runs on board. Yet, it was southpaw Upul Tharanga who held the nerves and helped his team cross the line.

On the score of 11, he was caught but thanks to Bumrah's no-ball, he survived and came out scoring vital 49 runs.

It was the second match that India lost mostly due to Bumrah's overstepping.
