IPL Auction 2016: Players List, Date, Time, Where to watch
The highly-anticipated Indian Premier League (IPL) auction for the IPL 2016 edition is scheduled to be held on February 6, 2016, in Bangalore. 351 cricketers from all over the world will be closely following the auction and waiting to know which side they will be playing for in the ninth season of the IPL.

After the player draft and the trading window having been completed, the auction is scheduled for Saturday, February 6, at 9 AM IST. Indian viewers will be able to follow the IPL auction live on Sony Six and Sony Six HD channels.
With two new teams in Rising Pune Super Giants and Gujarat Lions, the auction is expected to be a much more exciting affair than before with the newly-formed franchises aiming to get their team combination right. The two new teams had earlier picked five players each from the now-suspended Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals.
From the initial list of 714 players, it has been trimmed down to 351 players now, of which 230 are Indian players and the remaining 121 being overseas players. 130 of the 351 players are capped while 219 are uncapped. The remaining two players are from the two Associate Nations of Ireland and Canada.

The franchises, barring Pune and Rajkot, retained 100 players while 62 players were released by the franchises. The current squads of the eight franchises are given below:
