Pathan brothers fail to take Baroda through

Baroda's match against Andhra ended in a draw and the latter took first innings lead. Batting first, Baroda had posted a total of 373, in reply to which Andhra, courtesy Hanuma Vihari and Ricky Bhui's respective centuries, took a 181-run first innings lead.

While Irfan Pathan got out for a duck in the first innings, Yusuf walked without troubling the scorers in the second as Baroda finished with 195/6 and the match ended in a draw.

Mumbai take three points home

Naman Ojha's 180 for Madhya Pradesh powered them to a first innings total of 409. However, the Ranji giants Mumbai came back roaring and courtesy Jay Bista's whirlwind knock of 140-ball-135 helped his team to a first innings lead.

MP could then manage only 145 in their second innings by the time match got over and had to be content with just a point.

Washington Sundar impresses yet again as TN draw

Batting first, Tripura were halted by Tamil Nadu for 258 and then, to everyone's surprise, Washington Sundar was sent in to open the innings for TN. The 18-year-old didn't disappoint and went on to score a 231-ball-159 to help his team to a first innings lead.

The match was affected by bad light, which saw almost 140 overs being wasted as Tripura managed 91 in their second innings before the match's finish.

Sheldon Jackson and Ravindra Jadeja torment Jammu and Kashmir

Batting first, Saurashtra, with the help of Jackson's 181 and Jadeja's double century, posted a huge total of 624/7 before declaring their innings. In reply, J&K batsmen couldn't put up a fight and surrendered to the Jadeja duo of Ravindra and Dharmendrasinh.

Captain Cheteshwar Pujara invited the opponents to follow on, but another batting collapse saw J&K bundle out for 256 as Saurashtra walked away with a bonus point courtesy the innings win.
