Saurashtra take 3 points against Gujarat
Riding on Cheteshwar Pujara's first innings knock of 182, Saurashtra held on to their first innings lead and walked home with three points. Gujarat continued from their overnight score of 340/4, 266 runs behind Saurashtra's first innings score. However, they lost all their remaining wickets and managed to add only 73 runs to the score.
In their second innings, the home side had added 98 runs when both the captains decided to end the contest in a draw.

Assam hold UP for a draw
Things looked to be finally going Uttar Pradesh's way and it seemed as though they will register their first win of the season. However, Assam's Sibsankar Roy and Gokul Sharma added 110 runs for the third wicket and forced UP into agreeing for a draw.
The visitors continued from their overnight score of 229/2 and added 128 more runs before declaring their innings. Assam were handed a target of 389 runs to chase.
Suresh Raina brought on eight of his players to bowl but the hosts held out and suffered on;y four blows before the end of day's play.

KL Rahul misses out on century but K'taka take 3 points
Delhi could only add 24 runs and lost six wickets in the morning session to hand Karnataka the first innings lead. Gautam Gambhir was the highest scorer for visitors in Alur with a 144-run knock, almost 50% of his team's total of 301.
Coming out to open the innings, KL Rahul (92) looked set for a century but was caught short of the crease by Nitish Rana. The Indian international will now join the Indian team for the test series against Sri Lanka. The match eventually ended in a draw.

Mumbai brilliantly hold on for a draw in their 500th Ranji outing
Mumbai held on for a draw despite conceding the first innings lead to Baroda and walked away with just a point. Continuing from their overnight score of 102/4, with Shreyas Iyer and Prithvi Shaw already back in the hut, it looked as though Mumbai might be handed a defeat by the end of day's play.
However, Rahane (45-off-134), Suryakumar Yadav (132-ball-44), Siddharth Lad (238-ball-71) and Abhishek Nayar (108-ball-8) played patient innings to ensure that the Ranji giants walk away with at least a point.
