Needing a win to stay in contention for the quarter-finals, 41-time champions Mumbai defeated Tripura to go through, notching up a comprehensive 10-wicket victory in their Group C game.
Riding on the tons of Jay Bista and Siddesh Lad in the first innings, Mumbai lapped up the meagre 60-run target in no time, with teenage sensation Prithvi Shaw completing a half-century in the process.
Mumbai 421/8 dec & 64/0 beat Tripura 195 & 288 by ten wickets.
Maharashtra, on the other hand, also completed a victory against Assam at Pune, with Naushad Shaikh’s century forming the bulk of their 216-run chase.
Maharashtra 253 & 216/3 beat Assam 279 & 189 by seven wickets.
Mayank Agarwal’s dream run continues
In the Karnataka vs Railways Group A game at Delhi, Mayank Agarwal continued his superb form with the bat, scoring yet another century, and stayed unbeaten on 104. Karnataka now lead by a massive margin of 309 runs, with nine wickets in hand. Agarwal had scored 173 in the first innings, his fourth 100+ score in as many games.
Agarwal now has more than 1000 runs in the last 30 days.

TN-Baroda game heading for tight finish
The Tamil Nadu vs Baroda game is heading for a tight finish at Vadodra in their group C game, with TN requiring 231 runs with 10 wickets in hand. N Jagadeesan and Abhinav Mukund were the opening pair that remained un-separated at 2-0 when the day's play ended.
This came after the TN side restricted Baroda to 197 in their second innings, with M Mohammed and K Vignesh picking up three wickets each. Swapnil Singh was the top-scorer for Baroda with 49.
Dinda's fifer ensures Bengal qualification
Ashok Dinda picked up his 24th five-wicket haul to ensure that Bengal qualified for the quaterfinals, after notching up the requird three points with their game against Goa. Dinda picked up 5-79 from his 33 overs, giving his side a 69-run lead, which will, in all probability, three points to qualify to the next round.
