IPL 2017 Fantasy Tips: Delhi Daredevils vs Sunrisers Hyderabad
Transfers made – 2; Transfers remaining – 15
Brendon McCullum out – David Warner in
Nathan Coulter-Nile out – Chris Morris in
(uncapped) Rahul Tripathi out – Mohammed Siraj in
Uncapped preference order: 1. Siddarth Kaul 2. Mohammed Siraj 3. Shreyas Iyer
Captain – Chris Morris (SRH bat first)/David Warner (SRH bat second)
With Zaheer Khan still unavailable, the only change Delhi Daredevils will be looking at is bringing in West Indian batsman Marlon Samuels in place of either Sam Billings or Corey Anderson. Sunrisers Hyderabad, on the other hand, have no reason to drop any of their players, unless Ashish Nehra is back fit again.

Of the three capped players that I already have in my team – Sanju Samson, Kagiso Rabada and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the first two are obvious choices as Delhi Daredevils play twice in three matches. Given the way Bhuvneshwar has been bowling and that Sunrisers have never really had a long break, dropping him has never been an option to me.
In case you don't have him, and are running low on transfers, you can consider leaving him out and hope he doesn't get more than a couple of wickets, which often happens with bowlers, as their success depends on a lot of external factors such as how his team fares, how the captain uses him, and how the opposition rates him. This is why you would never see me captaining a bowler.

From the ones left, David Warner, Chris Morris and Kane Williamson are the only options worth considering. Morris gets in first, keeping in mind he fits into the Schedule Mantra round. Between Warner and Williamson, I side with the former again, as he can cause the maximum damage and is going to be my captain for this match as well.
You can always pin your hopes on the first-wicket partnership to reduce Williamson’s impact. Delhi’s bowling unit, even without Pat Cummins and Rabada playing together, is capable of doing the job too. As far as uncapped players are concerned, Siddarth Kaul, Mohammed Siraj and Shreyas Iyer all look good enough to return 60-70 points.

The last time these two teams played each other, the Daredevils batsmen had no issues in countering Rashid Khan; therefore, I don't see the need for the Afghanistan leg-spinner today. Add to it that the Indian players are starting to pick him and that the Daredevils’ top order is stacked with local players, you will be able to understand the emerging pattern.
