3 fast bowlers RCB could sign at IPL 2025 Auction on bowling coach Omkar Salvi's inputs ft. Vaibhav Arora
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), in a recent development, announced the inclusion of Omkar Salvi as their bowling coach ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season.
Omkar Salvi was an assistant bowling coach for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) last year. More recently, he led Mumbai to their 42nd Ranji Trophy title as their head coach.
Salvi is a household name in the domestic circuit and brings in vital experience along with a winning credential. His inclusion certainly comes as a boost to RCB, for whom bowling has always been a major concern.
RCB have retained Indian pacer Yash Dayal and will be keen to build a potent bowling attack at the upcoming mega auction. They will require fast bowlers in particular, who can handle pressure and deliver at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Coming on the back of successful stints with KKR and Mumbai in domestic cricket, Omkar Salvi will certainly have key inputs to offer and target pacers in mind whom RCB can look at.
On that note, here are three fast bowlers whom the Bengaluru franchise could sign at the upcoming mega auction based on inputs from their new bowling coach.

#3 Mohammad Juned Khan
Mohammad Juned Khan, a 24-year-old right-arm fast-bowler, has had an inspiring journey from local tournaments to playing domestic cricket for Mumbai. He has played two first-class matches for Mumbai so far and has picked up three wickets as well.
Playing in the recent Irani Cup for Mumbai against the Rest of India, Juned Khan picked up the prized wicket of Ruturaj Gaikwad as well. He was also a net bowler at KKR last year and with Omkar Salvi being present in both the setups, he could suggest Juned to be picked by RCB.
#2 Chetan Sakariya
Left-arm pacer Chetan Sakariya is another option RCB could look to sign in the auction. Being a left-arm pacer, he can bring variety to the attack and can be a backup for Yash Dayal as well.
Sakariya has played for three IPL teams - Delhi Capitals, Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders. He did not play a single game last year for KKR. However, Sakariya has 14 wickets from 14 games in the league.
Sakariya also has the experience of having played three international matches for India and 46 T20s, where he has grabbed 65 wickets at an average of 20.16 and an economy rate of 7.69.
#1 Vaibhav Arora
Among the increasing pool of fast bowlers in India, Vaibhav Arora is another upcoming name. He has had a short IPL career so far, having played only 20 games, but has been impressive.
He has picked up 19 wickets from 20 matches in the league. After representing Punjab Kings in 2022, he was a part of KKR in 2023 and 2024. While Arora picked up five wickets in 2023, he made a significant contribution to their title-winning campaign in 2024, picking up 11 wickets.
He has been in good form in the ongoing Ranji Trophy and his ability to swing the ball both ways early on in the powerplay makes him a valuable asset. The 26-year-old is certainly a good signing to have for any franchise.
