3 highest wicket-takers in DC-CSK matches ft. Dwayne Bravo

Delhi Capitals (DC) will face the challenge of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Match 13 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 on Sunday (March 31) in Visakhapatnam.

DC are coming into this game with two losses in as many games. In their recent outing against the Rajasthan Royals, the Capitals failed to chase down a total of 185.

On the other hand, CSK have started the tournament on a brilliant note and are at the top of the table with wins in both games. In their latest game, the Super Kings posted 206 and won by 63 runs against the Gujarat Titans.

As per head-to-head contests, CSK holds an edge with 19 victories in 29 games. It will be interesting to see if DC can open their account and improve their record against CSK.

Jadeja returned with the best figures of 3/9 in Match 50 of IPL 2019 in Chennai. Battinfg first, CSK posted 179 on the board, with Jadeja slamming 25* off 10 balls.

In the second half, Jadeja took an important wicket of Shreyas Iyer, who was DC's top-scorer. In the end, the left-arm spinner finished with figures of 3/9 in three overs and helped the team to win by 80 runs.


#2 Dwayne Bravo - 19 wickets

The West Indies all-rounder has scalped a total of 17 wickets at an economy of 8.06 against the Delhi Capitals in 18 appearances.

His best performance of 3/33 came in Match 5 of IPL 2019. Batting first, the Capitals were off to a good start and were looking to go past the 160-run mark. However, Bravo took the wickets of Rishabh Pant, Colin Ingram, and Shikhar Dhawan, which resulted in the Capitals scoring only 147.

Then, CSK secured a victory by two wickets, with Bravo sealing the game with a four.


#1 Ravichandran Ashwin - 19 wickets

One of the legendary Indian spinners, Ravichandran Ashwin had a good time with the CSK outfit. He picked 19 wickets against the Capitals with a terrific economy rate of 5.80 in 12 games.

Ashwin shone brightly in his spell of 3/23 in the Qualifier 2 game of IPL 2012. Batting first, CSK posted a mammoth total of 222 on the board. Then, the right-arm spinner cleaned up Mahela Jayawardene, while getting rid of Andre Russell and Umesh Yadav later in the game to help CSK win by 86 runs.
