IPL 2018: 3 Indian players who have made a strong case for the 2019 World Cup
We are halfway through the tournament and some players have already made a very strong impact with their consistent performances. India is still looking to fill some voids in their middle order. Many players have been tried but we have still not managed to find the perfect combination. Indian selectors are currently open to giving opportunities to few players to find the perfect balance in the middle order. IPL is the perfect stage for players to showcase their abilities and make a strong case for themselves.
Let us look at three Indian players who have made a strong case for themselves:
Rishabh Pant
A 20-year-old attacking batsman from Delhi, he has come into his own in this year's IPL. He has scored 393 runs in 10 matches at an average of 39.3 and an amazing strike rate of 173.12. His form has been sublime and he is striking the ball beautifully.
With India looking for someone at 5 or 6 who can hit those big shots right from the word go, Rishab Pant makes a strong case for himself. He can replace Kedhar Jadhav.
He can be used in different positions as per the match situation and with his ability to play big shots, he can be a real asset for the team.
