The IPL is an event which brings out the best in young players and also provides a platform for them to represent their national sides. Many of the prominent players in the national sides have been able to feature only due to their consistent performances in the IPL.

The selectors too have a problem of plenty while choosing the squad for the limited overs while keeping in mind the composition of the team for 2019 World Cup.

Team India has given youngsters a place in the squad in the shortest format of the game. With India set to start their overseas tours with the T20's in June, we will look at the pacers who can make it to the T20 squad due to impressive performances in the IPL.

#3 Deepak Chahar

Deepak Chahar has been a promising bowler whose career has been riddled due to injuries. Ever since he took match figures of 8 for 21 in his debut Ranji trophy match, he was considered as the next big thing. But, luck didn't favour his way and he moved out of contention.

He was bought by the Chennai Super Kings in the 2018 IPL auction after having stints with the Rajasthan Royals and the now-defunct Rising Pune Supergiant, and has impressed for CSK, this season.

The medium-pacer has developed lots of skills in his bowling which includes the knuckleball, inswinger and outswinger. He took figures of 3-15 against the Sunrisers Hyderabad which included a wicket-maiden over.

India can look to him as an opening bowler in the years to come and he can help the Indian team.
