IPL 2018: 4 capped players who might go unsold in the next auction
The IPL has reached its business end where all the teams have played a minimum of 12 matches. Even the fans couldn't have asked for a better edition of the IPL. With the chasing side winning most of the encounters, it has been a lively way to begin the cricket season.
The IPL has also brought new faces who have outstanding performances to their name. In a season where any target looks like one that can be chased down and any total can be defended the abilities of young prodigies have come to light.
However, some seasoned campaigners in the IPL have found it hard to come on terms and have not been in the scheme of things lately.
While some of the players have been dropped from the XI after terrible performances, others have been warming the bench all season long.
We will look at those capped players who might never find an IPL franchise again.
#4 Gurkeerat Singh Mann
Gurkeerat Singh was once considered to be the next biggest thing in Indian cricket as he had the potential to fulfill the position of a batting all-rounder.
Over time, he hasn't even been considered by the selectors as the likes of Hardik Pandya and Kedar Jadhav have performed exorbitantly without any flaw.
He was selected in the Indian team after he scored a match-winning knock of 87 against Australia A.
But the all-rounder had failed to replicate his past form with the Indian team. He has three ODI caps to his name where he has scored just 13 runs and has gone wicket-less.
He was also dropped from the India A team where he was a prominent figure due to the same.
Despite this, he was bought for 75 lakhs by Delhi Daredevils and hasn't started in the XI even for a single game so far.
Mann might surely find no bidders as he has no valuable contributions to his name.
