In the T20 format of cricket, it is fair to say that the bowlers are under more pressure when compared to the batsmen. The right arm leggie from Haryana took his first hat-trick for Delhi Daredevils against Deccan Chargers in the very first edition of the IPL in 2008 and became the first spinner to clinch a hat-trick in the IPL tournament history.
In 2011, Deccan Chargers bought Amit Mishra and in the same year, Mishra took his 2nd hat-trick for his new team against Kings XI Punjab. After two years with DC, Mishra moved to SRH in 2013. He took his 3rd hat-trick for SRH against Pune Warriors India and became the first bowler to take 3 hat-tricks in the history of the IPL.
Amit Mishra is the only bowler to take a hat-trick for all the teams (DD, DC, SRH) he has played for. He is also the leading Indian wicket-taker and 2nd leading wicket-taker in the IPL so far.
