A BCCI probe led by Ravi Sawani has found Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila, Ankeet Chavan and Amit Singh, of the IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals, guilty of multiple offences and the disgraced players face bans ranging from five years to life, according to the Indian Express.

The investigation led by Sawani looked into allegations that Chandila, Chavan and Sreesanth had conceded a pre-determined number of runs per over in exchange for bribes during the IPL this year.

Amit Singh, a former Gujurat player, was also arrested as he was believed to have discussed match fixing with Rajasthan teammate Ajit Chandila.

BCCI’s disciplinary committee will meet on Friday to discuss the incidents that marred the IPL earlier this year. Sawani has reportedly told the players his verdict – that they will be banned for at least five years and possibly for life.

BCCI sources told the Indian Express that Ajit Chandila and Amit Singh are likely to receive life bans while Sreesanth and Chavan may be banned for between 10 and 15 years.

Rajasthan Royals players Siddharth Trivedi and Harmeet Singh are also likely to receive bans for between 1 and 5 years for failing to report approaches by bookies.
