5 Australian stars who played in the IPL before making their international debut
One decade of IPL cricket has come and gone and the tournament has done miracles for cricketers, especially youngsters. So far we have seen dozens of Indians getting the opportunity at the highest level after their performances in the marquee league. The league gives many players the opportunity to make money and display their talents.
However, the cash-rich league is incomplete without the presence of foreign players. A total of 282 overseas players are participating in the auction this year, out of which 58 are from Australia itself, the highest from any nation.
Not only Indians, some Aussies have also earned national call-ups based on their performances in the IPL. Here is a look at five of them:
#5 Chris Lynn
Chris Lynn has been the centre of attention in T20 cricket for the past few years. The 27-year-old showcased his talent while playing for Brisbane Heat in the BBL.
Despite making his IPL debut way back in 2012 for the Deccan Chargers, he came into the limelight only when he opened for KKR, giving them flying starts along with Sunil Narine in 2017, scoring 295 runs in 7 games.
