The 2024 MLC (Major League Cricket) season came to an end with Washington Freedom claiming the trophy. They beat the San Francisco Unicorns by a massive 96-run margin in what was a one-sided final from the word go.
Washington Freedom had a magnificent campaign, losing just one game throughout the competition as they went on to clinch the title, quite deservingly as well.
This edition of the MLC stood out for some exceptional performances from teams and players as well, both with the bat and the ball. However, a major highlight of the season has also been some key performances from the domestic players for their respective franchises.
Several USA cricketers have showcased their talent consistently, making a name for themselves while playing with and against some of the top cricketers around the world.
Here, we take a look at five domestic players who were at their absolute best throughout the 2024 MLC season.

#5 Andries Gous (Washington Freedom)
Wicketkeeper-batter Andries Gous put up a decent showing, playing an important role in Washington Freedom lifting the MLC 2024 trophy. The right-handed batter was among their key contributors with the bat.
With big names such as Steve Smith, Travis Head, and Glenn Maxwell in the side, Gous managed to emerge as one of their top run-getters, scoring 153 runs from seven innings at an average of 38.25, which also included a half-century (59).
#4 Sanjay Krishnamurthi (San Francisco Unicorns)
San Francisco Unicorns made it to the final of the league this year. They missed out on the trophy, losing in the title clash.
Young 21-year-old all-rounder Sanjay Krishnamurthi made a significant contribution to their campaign with the bat. He scored 169 runs from eight innings, which also included a match-winning unbeaten 79.
Displaying his worth, he ended as the fourth-highest run-getter for his side as well, providing much-needed stability in the batting order.
#3 Cameron Gannon (Seattle Orcas)
Right-arm pacer Cameron Gannon was a bright spot in the campaign for the Seattle Orcas this season.
Building on his performance, he ended as their top wicket-taker, grabbing 11 scalps from seven games at an average of 19.27.
He also picked up a three-wicket haul, returning with best figures of 3/26 in one of the games in the tournament.
#2 Saurabh Netravalkar (Washington Freedom)
After having impressed at the 2024 T20 World Cup, USA's left-arm pacer Saurabh Netravalkar lived up to the expectations in the MLC 2024 as well.
Picking up 15 wickets from seven innings, he emerged as the leading wicket-taker of the tournament, playing a vital role in helping Washington Freedom clinch the title.
He averaged 13.46 with an economy rate of 7.67 and also managed to grab a four-wicket haul. Netravalkar was consistent with the ball throughout the season.
#1 Hassan Khan (San Francisco Unicorns)
Hassan Khan is easily the best domestic player from this MLC season. His all-round contributions carried San Francisco Unicorns all the way to the final as well.
The youngster was impressive with both the bat and the ball. He amassed 204 runs from eight innings with a healthy average of 40.80 and a strike-rate of 143.66.
Hassan also emerged as the leading wicket-taker for his side, bagging 10 scalps from seven innings with an average of 15.60 and an economy rate of 7.09.
