The Indian Premier League has been one of the biggest stages for the youngsters to showcase their talent. Ever since its inception in 2008, IPL has served the purpose to hunt talents not only from India but from all over the world and hone them to be ready for the international stage.

The young players get an opportunity to share the dressing room with one of the finest cricketers in the world and learn from their experience. The Indian selectors are keen on keeping a close eye on the IPL proceedings to find budding talents unearthed by the IPL franchises who can be the future stars for the Indian team.

IPL has found many such talents over the past decade and here are a few players who went on to represent India and have been successful so far.

#5 Kuldeep Yadav

Kuldeep Yadav

Kuldeep Yadav was first bought by Mumbai Indians in IPL 2012 but did not feature in a game for the team. He shifted to Kolkata Knight Riders in 2014 but waited two seasons to play his first IPL game.

In the 2016 edition of the IPL, Kuldeep troubled the batsmen with his deliveries which were hard to be picked. Though he got a limited number of opportunities, he used each of them to display his talent. He took 6 wickets playing in 3 matches in the season.

The 'Chinaman' bowler from Uttar Pradesh impressed everyone when he took 4 wickets on his Test debut against Australia in Dharamsala in 2017. Later he was drafted in India's limited-overs squad for the tour to West Indies and has been a mainstay in the Indian team since then.

The duo of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal have successfully replaced the spin duo of Jadeja and Ashwin, and have almost booked their place in the team for the ICC World Cup to be held in 2019.
