5 memorable moments from Mumbai Indians’ win over Delhi Daredevils that don’t fade away

Jos Buttler got his side off to a decent start on a tough surface

Tonight’s match between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Daredevils was a low-scoring encounter. But what it lacked in runs, it made up for in entertainment factor. Aggressive and exceptional bowling from the Daredevils helped restrict the hosts to just 142. Mumbai, however, weren’t done just yet. The home team came roaring out of the blocks after the innings break and took just 6.3 overs to send 6 of Delhi’s players back to the pavilion.

From 24/6, Chris Morris and Kagiso Rabada put up a sensational 91-run partnership and threatened to take Delhi to an unlikely win. But, it wasn’t meant to be as some tight bowling at the death by Mumbai Indians bowlers helped them emerge victorious by 14 runs.

Here are 5 memorable moments from the match that don't fade away, quite like the Axe Signature range of body perfumes:

#1 Jos Buttler’s brave innings

Jos Buttler’s innings today was the epitome of fearlessness. On a day when the Wankhede pitch provided plenty of assistance to the bowlers, the Englishman stood tall and churned out a praiseworthy innings of 28 in just 18 balls.
The Mumbai Indians top scorer was also the player who had the best strike rate (155.56) of all batsmen on the night. His innings, unfortunately, ended abruptly, thanks to a smart piece of fielding by young Sanju Samson.
