#1 Dwayne Smith departs early
This was a huge wicket for the Delhi Daredevils. Smith, who was the hero of Gujarat’s previous game could have ripped through the Delhi bowlers once again if he wasn’t run-out. To take the final call, Delhi didn't really have to consult the third umpire but they did, just to be safe. Surprisingly, Smith did not even attempt the dive as Mohammed Shami celebrated his first wicket of the game.
Smith scored a blistering 74 off just 39 balls in the last game to propel the chase, but luck didn’t favor him this time and he had to walk back on 8 runs.
