5 moments from the KKR Vs RCB match that don’t fade away
Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore came up against each other in match no. 46 of IPL 10. After winning the toss, Kolkata opted to bowl first and restricted an already languishing RCB to a total of 158.
Fireworks from Sunil Narine (54) and Chris Lynn (50) helped the two-time champions cruise to a six-wicket victory over RCB at M Chinnaswamy Stadium. After this win, Kolkata rise to the second position on the table. For RCB, the streak of losses continues.
Here are 5 memorable moments from the match that don't fade away, quite like the Axe Signature range of body perfumes.
#1 Umesh Yadav’s opening burst
Umesh Yadav gifted Chris Gayle his second consecutive duck in the opening over. Gayle, playing his 100th IPL match, was sent back on the first ball of his innings. On a good length, Gayle was looking to work it towards the on-side but closed the bat face too early, the leading edge popped in the air and Gambhir ran to gobble it up at short cover.
That was the worst possible start for RCB.
An over late, Yadav struck again, this time to send back the RCB skipper. Kohli didn't pick it up the slower ball, swung across the line and missed it completely. He was given LBW and another disappointment for the 28-year old who had to walk back on 5 runs.
