5.Sanjay Bangar - Kings XI Punjab
Sanjay Bangar is a well-establish Indian cricketer at the domestic levels. But he represented India in only a handful of matches as his lackluster performances limited his chances in the International arena.
Bangar started his coaching career with the now-defunct Kochi Tuskers Kerala in the IPL but his best moment of franchise coaching career came in 2014. He was appointed as the assistant coach of KXIP at the beginning of the season but was later promoted to the apex seat.
In his very first season with KXIP, he led them to their inaugural final. Although they lost in the final, they contested strongly in that fixture against KKR. Eventually, Bangar caught the eye of the national selectors and was called up to coach the senior side.
