The Indian Premier League is a door that takes youngsters on their merry way, their way to glory which they can find in the cash-rich league. Youngsters want to do their best in the league to grab the spotlight. A few players have cashed on their opportunities to reach the top level as well, players such as Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah earned a name for themselves during their stint for the Mumbai Indians which later helped them to earn a national call-up. India's U19 captain, the recent batting prodigy Prithvi Shaw will be a player to watch out for in the IPL auction this year. The opener is the youngest player to score five centuries in India's domestic four-day tournament. He scored a gutsy 94 in India's opening game of the under 19 World Cup which is being held in New Zealand. In the previous edition of the tournament, Shaw was unsold in the auction. Prithvi Shaw has scored 961 runs in Ranji Trophy with an average of 56.52. The in-form youngster has also managed to score 151 runs in the two innings at the under 19 World Cup. Things are expected to be different for the young man, Shaw has set his base price at ₹20 lakhs. The 18-year-old will be hoping to find a franchise for himself.
