Darren Bravo is a left-handed middle-order batsman from Trinidad who idolizes the great Brian Lara. He is blessed with a fair set of skills and a good temperament. This year in CPL Darren Bravo showed a completely new side of himself. He played an unbelievable innings 94 runs in just 36 balls against the St. Lucia Stars. He chased down the target of 213 for his team TKR from a vulnerable position of 71 for 3 in 9.2 overs. He hit 10 sixes and six fours in that inning.

Every franchise would want a player like Darren Bravo in the middle order who could change the game by playing fearless cricket and hitting big shots continuously. Bravo was lacklustre the T20 series against India. He could still be a useful purchase for the franchises for reserve as Australian players would be unavailable for the complete tournament.
