61% Indians on the Inshorts app favour an India Pakistan cricket series in 2016
According to the findings of the Inshorts Youth of the Nation Poll, 61% Indians are in favour of an India-Pakistan bilateral cricket series in 2016. The poll was conducted on the Inshorts Android app from 26th Jan to 2nd Feb 2016, wherein more than one lac forty thousand respondents contributed more than ten lac responses to 30 questions that dominated headlines in 2015. All questions had three options – Yes, No and Not Informed Enough.
When asked if they are in favour of an India-Pakistan cricket series, 61% respondents voted YES, 33% voted NO and 6% voted Nor Informed Enough. To the question that whether Virat Kohli should replace MS Dhoni as India’s captain in ODIs and T20 formats as well, 55% voted No, 33% voted Yes and 12% voted Not Informed Enough.
Keeping in view the surge of various Sports Leagues in the country in the last few years, the poll asked respondents if they agreed that the different Sports Leagues are actually helping in the promotion of Sports in the country, a whopping 79% voted Yes, 13% voted No and 8% respondents said Not Informed Enough.
This is the third edition of a seven-part series of findings that have emerged from the Inshorts Youth of the Nation poll; these would be released over a period of 2 weeks on the Inshorts app on Android and iOS.
