MS Dhoni is one of the finest Indian cricketers to have played the game. The Indian wicketkeeper is famous for his remarks from behind the stumps during matches. The former Indian skipper has helped a lot of bowlers with his inputs from behind the stumps.

He is a man of few words but he ensures that those few words benefit his players. In the ongoing series between India and South Africa, Dhoni made some useful comments from behind the stumps.

"Ye aada khelega" (He'll play a cross-batted shot). The former skipper said this to Jasprit Bumrah when David Miller was batting. As if to oblige him, Miller ran down the track and played a cross-batted shot. He edged the delivery and was caught by the wicketkeeper.

In the fifth one-day international, Dhoni said to Chahal, "Zor se catch aayega phir merko mat bolna" (A hard catch will come to you). In the next over, the left-handed Miller struck the ball hard, resulting in a dropped catch from the leg-spinner.

#7 When Raina lost his length and line

During India's encounter with Ireland in the 2015 ODI World Cup, Suresh Raina was bowling to William Porterfield in the middle stages of the innings when Dhoni came up with this hilarious comment. The 36-year-old told Raina to maintain his line and length by using volleyball as an example.

Dhoni told Raina about how the batsman was struggling to stand in the crease. "Woh volleyball kee tarah khada hua hai beech mein" (he is standing in a volleyball pose). The off-spinner corrected his line and length quickly and ended up with figures of 1 for 40 in 10 overs.
