Deccan Gladiators have not registered a win in their last two matches. Their match against Team Abu Dhabi produced a no result because of a technical error while in their last game, Northern Warriors defeated them by 10 runs.

Their opponents, Bangla Tigers were battered by Maratha Arabians yesterday evening but they had got the better of Northern Warriors in their penultimate league game. Talking about the head-to-head record of the two teams, Deccan had defeated the Tigers by 6 wickets in their group stage meeting.

The Gladiators' fans will expect their captain Shane Watson to lead the team from the front tonight whereas the Tigers' fan base will rest their hopes on the team's all-rounders.

Predicted XIs

Deccan Gladiators

Deccan Gladiators had lost their previous match hence, they might make a change to their match squad for this game. West Indian left-arm pacer Sheldon Cottrell may replace Mason Crane in the team. Apart from that, there should be no changes.

Probable XI : Mohammad Shahazad (wk), Shane Watson (c), Anton Devcich, Kieron Pollard, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Daniel Lawrence, Ben Cutting, Fawad Ahmed, Sheldon Cottrell, Zahir Khan, Zahoor Khan

Bangla Tigers

The Tigers should bring their Sri Lankan leg-spinner Kevin Koththigoda in the playing XI as the left-arm spinner Prabath Jayasuriya had conceded 10 runs in the only over he bowled against Maratha Arabians. Also, Shehan Jayasuriya should be brought into the side by dropping the out-of-form Colin Ingram.

Probable XI: Andre Fletcher, Rilee Rossouw, Shehan Jayasuriya, Tom Moores (wk), Chirag Suri, Thisara Perera (C), Robbie Frylinck, David Wiese, Qais Ahmad, Liam Plunkett, Kevin Koththigoda.

Match prediction

As both the teams do not have the momentum by their side, it would be tough to pick a winner. But since the Deccan Gladiators had fared better in the league stage and they had even defeated the Tigers in their group stage clash, they can be backed to win this game.

Deccan Gladiators to come out on top.
