Alastair Cook says England prepared for third Ashes Test
Perth - England captain Alastair Cook said on Thursday his team is keen to do well in the third Ashes cricket Test against Australia here starting Friday.
England lost the first two Test matches in Brisbane and Adelaide and trail 0-2 in the five-match series, reports Xinhua.
Cook said his squad had worked hard for the coming Test matches and thought that the team was prepared.
“Our confidence has obviously had a hit from the first two Test matches,” Cook told local media Thursday.
“But as a squad we’ve made a conscious effort to look forward rather than back.”
“I don’t think it’s anything about lifting the players,” he added.
“That hunger and desire have always been there in this side. We’ve got another case to show it this week.”
