Anil Kumble's Twitter Q&A session with his fans
Former Indian cricket team captain Anil Kumble declared a Q&A session in the afternoon yesterday on Twitter with the #AskAnil hashtag, asking people to ask him anything.
It didn't take even a minute and Kumble's the social networking account was flooded with questions from his followers Twitterati. More than 1000 tweets appeared with 10 mins, while most of them were asking about yesterday's India defeat, some also asked funny ones.
Kumble was in Mumbai to deliver a Dilip Sardesai memorial lecture. Even though Kumble couldn’t answer all the questions that were asked, he did a good job by choosing some the interesting ones. The Q&A session started after he tweeted:

Q. “Your thoughts on Rohit Sharma's knock yesterday (1st Twenty20 against South Africa in Dharamshala)?”
Q. “Your favourite subject in Mechanical Engineering?”
Q. “Till date which is that one wicket that you treasure a lot?”
Q. “The feat you cherish most? 10 wicket haul at Feroz Shah Kotla (against Pakistan) or the Test match ton at oval?”
Q. “Hello sir, Hardest overseas batsman to bowl?”
Q. “Sir, what combination of spinners do you think will be most effective against South Africa?”
Q. “Sir, what are your thoughts on Virat Kohli?”
Q. “One batsman you feared bowling to?”
Q. “(Who) is you favorite spinner?”
Q. “What's your opinion on Mahendra Singh Dhoni?”

The 44-year-old finally decided to put a full stop to the Twitter interaction with fans and tweeted:
But it wasn’t over yet, many people started sending Kumble tweets, asking him to reply to their questions too. One follower tweeted saying all his friends have got reply but he didn’t. And to his surprise, Kumble replied to make this fan’s day with a simple yet funny last tweet.
