Arjun reminds me of my young days: Yuvraj Singh

 

 

During an interview given to DNA, Yuvraj Singh has claimed that  Sachin Tendulkar‘ son, Arjun Tendulkar’s, batting reminds him of his younger days.

“Some time back Sachin told me that Arjun bats like me. When I watched him, he reminded me of my younger days in Chandigarh and the Sector 16 Stadium. Arjun is passionate about the game and that comes from his father,” said Yuvraj.

The words from the 2011 World Cup hero will be a huge motivation for the youngster who was dropped from the Mumbai under-14 squad last month.

Yuvraj, along with pacer Zaheer Khan, returned from France on Friday after a six week fitness training regimen with physical trainer Tim Exeter.

Yuvraj believes that the stint in France has helped him regain his fitness.

“After recovering from cancer, I trained at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), but there were a lot of distractions because of media scrutiny. So, I opted to train outside India and that actually helped me,” he said.
