Big blow for England as Anderson has been ruled

England paceman James Anderson has been ruled out of the rest of the Edgbaston Test and will be unavailable for the next Test at Trent Bridge as well because of a side strain injury.

His availability for the final Test at The Oval will be assessed later.

Anderson left the field yesterday when he was into his ninth over of the morning. The England and Wales Cricket Board soon released a statement via Twitter saying Anderson had a "tight side" and would be "assessed overnight".
