Tim Paine admitted his side made mistakes in the 3rd Test, but dismissed claims that Australia 'choked' in the final hour as England snatched a dramatic victory and squared the Ashes series at Headingley last week.
Paine will have Steve Smith at his disposal again for Wednesday's 4th Test at Old Trafford.
The No1-ranked batsman returns after missing the Headingley Test with concussion.
