Arjun Nair has bowled with an economy of 3.04 for New South Wales

Jason Sangha has become the youngest player in history to sign a rookie contract with the New South Wales (NSW) at just 16 years and 233 days. Meanwhile, fellow teen off-spinner Arjun Nair’s successful summer has earned him a full term contract with the NSW Blues for the 2016-17 season .

Sangha had a notable summer for Cricket Australia XI in the Under 19 National Championships. He was selected in Australia’s Under-19 team which met New Zealand and Pakistan earlier this year and has one century to his name in the Tri-Nation Under-19s Tournament in the United Arab Emirates.

The right-hand batsman is the youngest player in 90 years to represent NSW in the Toyota Futures League. He was also rated as one of the top juniors Australia has produced by Cricket Australia National Talent Manager Greg Chappell.
