Pakistan's Babar Azam made a return to the top spot in the latest ICC T20I rankings for batsmen, released after the end of the Pakistan-West Indies series. The opener shot past New Zealand's Colin Munro and Australia's Glenn Maxwell to reclaim the top spot.

With scores of 17, an unbeaten 97 and a 51, Azam made his way to the top, for the first time since January, when he last held the position. Before his 'Player of the Series' performance against West Indies, his ascend to the top in January had made him the second batsmen after Pakistan's Misbah-Ul-Haq, who had achieved the feat in 2008-09.

There were no other changes in the top-10 in the bowlers' rankings, with India's Virat Kohli sitting in the eight spot. After Munro and Maxwell at No.2 and No.3, Aaron Finch and Martin Guptill complete the top-5.

In the bowlers' rankings, Rashid Khan continued to be at the top, but Pakistan's Shadab Khan took a massive leap, jumping 10 places to reach the second spot, displacing Indian leggie Yuzvendra Chahal, who slipped to No.3. Imad Wasim slipped to the ninth spot, a loss of four positions.

In the all-rounders' rankings, Glenn Maxwell continued to sit at the top of the charts, followed by Mohammad Nabi, Shakib Al Hasan, and JP Duminy, who took a one spot leap over West Indies' Marlon Samuels.
