The Only-Test between India and Bangladesh resulted in a draw as rain was most consistent performer throughout the match. India after decided to bat first scored 462 for 5 declared with the help of Shikhar Dhawan's 173 and Murali Vijay's 150.

Bangladesh were dismissed for 256 with Indian spinners taking 8 wickets to wrap up the home team's innings. Later, India imposed follow-on on Bangladesh and asked them to bat.

But soon after the home side started their innings carefully and were 23 for no loss, both the team's captain decided to conclude the match in a draw.

416 - Harbhajan Singh took his career's 416th wicket when he clinched 3 wickets in the first innings of the game. He became the third in Indian bowler to break into the top 10 wicket takers in Test. Anil Kumble (619) and Kapil Dev (434) are the only two Indians above him.

3055 - Tamim Iqbal became the highest run-scorer (3055) for Bangladesh surpassing former captain Habibul Bashar's 3026 runs.

556 - The huge figure is India's average 1st innings score in Test against Bangladesh team.

2 - This was Rahane's second Test match in the subcontinent (previous was vs Australia in 20013). He has played 13 Tests outside Asia in his 15 matches career.

38 - Litton Das became now has the highest score (38*) by a Bangladeshi wicketkeeper on Test debut.

11 - Mominul Haque failed to score a 50 in this Test and ends his streak of 11 consecutive Tests with 50 plus scores.

416 - Shikhar Dhawan has scored 416 run in four innings in Asia. Overseas he has scored 580 runs in 20 innings.

1000* - Murali Vijay is the only Indian batsmen to cross 1000 run marks in the last 12 months.
