Chittagong Vikings
Batting
The Vikings would be glad that Cameron Delport was the one to get them to a par score to guide them to a crucial victory. Along with Yasir Ali, Mohammed Shahzad and captain, Mushfiqur Rahim, Delport's form comes at the perfect time with the playoffs soon to get underway. Sikander Raza and Dasun Shanaka provide the impetus in the death overs along with the multi-talented, Mosaddek Hossain Saikat.
Bowling
In the absence of Robbie Frylinck, Abu Jayed and Khaled Ahmed have done extremely well for them with even Cameron Delport contributing with a few vital wickets in the middle overs. Dasun Shanaka held his own in the power-play against the might of Russell but is a liability for the Vikings.
Expected Playing XI
Mohammed Shahzad (WK), Cameron Delport, Yasir Ali, Mushfiqur Rahim (C), Sikander Raza, Dasun Shanaka, Mosaddek Hossain, Nazmul Millon, Nayeem, Khaled, Abu Jayed
Sylhet Sixers
Batting
Nicolas Pooran has been the best batsman for the team with a brilliant fifty against the Rajshahi Kings going into vain. He is the second highest run-scorer in this edition of the Bangladesh Premier League with 379 runs and has constantly finished the innings on a high. Sabbir Rahman and Afif Hossain are also in good touch with a couple of decent scores to their name. Their star player, Jason Roy is yet to score a fifty for them and with the Englishman looking in good touch as well, it could surely be his day. Batting depth is key for the Sixers with Kapali, Nawaz and Tanvir all capable of playing their strokes.
Bowling
Taskin Ahmed has 21 wickets to his name which is three more than any other bowler in the tournament. He has regularly contributed wickets and is one to keep an eye on as Sixers try to keep their slim hopes alive. Sohail Tanvir, Alok Kapali and Mohammed Nawaz have also been good while they seem to have a problem with their third pacer. Al Amin Hossain and Mahedi Hasan Rana were tried and tested with current occupant, Ebadat Hossain seems to have tailed off after a good start. Al-Amin should come in for him with this being a crucial match for the Sixers.
Expected Playing XI
Liton Das(WK), Jason Roy, Afif Hossain, Sabbir Rahman, Nicolas Pooran, Alok Kapali (C), Mohammed Nawaz, Sohail Tanvir, Taskin Ahmed, Nabil Samad and Al-Amin Hossain.
