Brett Lee set to make his big screen debut in Australian-Indian romantic comedy
All those who have admired Brett Lee on the cricket ground can now do so on the big screen as the heartthrob is set to make his film debut on October 15 with 'unINDIAN'.
unINDIAN is an Australian-Indian film in the romantic comedy genre. The storyline revolves around Will, an Australian guy, trying to woo Meera, an Indian woman who lives in Sydney with her kid. Meera is being portrayed by Tannishtha Chatterjee. Donning the director's cap is Indian-origin Sydney-based filmmaker Anupam Sharma.

Other actors starring in the movie are John Howard, Tiriel Mora, Maya Sathimoorthy, Arka Das, Sarah Roberts, Adam Dunn, Nicholas Brown, Kumu Merani, Bollywood stars Supriya Pathak Kapur, Akash Kurana and Pallavi Sharda. Australia India Film Fund (AIFF) makes its first foray into production with this movie. It is being released in Australia by Friends India Entertainment, an established distributor. Tait Brady, renowned distribution consultant, is working with FIE on the release.

It is set to be a real breakthrough release in this country for a cross-cultural film that speaks to the mainstream Australian audience, and we will be backing it with a huge marketing and publicity campaign that will see the film on more than 80 screens nationally from October 15," Tait Brady said, according to NDTV sports.
Kathleen Drumm, formerly of Screen Australia, is working with the producers on the international distribution strategy, and Australian publicity and promotions are being handled by Tracey Mair’s TM Publicity.
