British Airways reply with a witty tweet after Anil Kumble's kit-bag is misplaced on the way to West Indies
Indian coach Anil Kumble’s kit bag was misplaced and left at the Gatwick airport by the British Airways during their long and tiring journey to the Caribbean. The British Airways, realising their mistake took immediate actions and apologised Anil Kumble in a very witty manner.
The British Airways tweeted that the kit has been “caught behind” his flight from Gatwick and they were going to “bowl” Kumble over with their service recovery. Indian Cricket team reached St.Kitts yesterday and is scheduled to play four Test matches starting on 21st July, in Antigua.
Anil Kumble, along with Sourav Ganguly and Ravi Shastri are the names in the spotlight of Indian Cricket for the past two weeks. The recent Ganguly-Shastri spat might have shifted the focus of the Indian Cricket team off-the-field, but Kumble was able to pull off a successful training camp ahead of the West Indies tour.
It will be interesting to see how he defends this off-field incident.

West Indies tour may not be one of his favourites. During the India’s tour of West Indies 2002, Anil Kumble suffered a broken jaw. The incident happened in the fourth match of the series, in Antigua. Brian Lara was in the crease; Kumble bowled continuously for 14 overs with the injury and eventually got him out and helped India fetch a draw.
This will be India’s first series under the charge of Anil Kumble. India will play two warm-up matches against West Indies Board President XI prior to the series on July 9-10 and July 14-16 at Warner Park, Basseterre.

This is not the first time that British Airways has caused trouble for the Indian players. The Airways was taken into scrutiny last year when the master blaster Sachin tweeted about his “frustrating” experience with the British Airways.
Tendulkar also informed via Tweeter that he was “angry, disappointed and frustrated” with British Airways’ service after failing to confirm the tickets of his family members ticket and tagged his luggage to wrong destination.
