Chris Gayle could land in trouble once again for making sexist remarks
The flamboyant West Indies batsman Chris Gayle has often made the headlines for all the wrong reasons. His flirtatious nature landed him in big trouble when he was severely criticized for asking a TV reporter ‘out for a date’ during a Big Bash League game at the start of this year. The reporter named Mel McLaughlin was interviewing the big man on the sidelines when the Jamaican nonchalantly started flirting with her. Gayle said to the TV reporter Mel McLaughlin, “Your eyes are beautiful, hopefully we can win this game and then we can have a drink after as well. Don’t blush, baby.” and left the reporter red-faced with his sudden remark. The southpaw could once again face fresh allegations of sexism following lewd remarks made to a female journalist in an interview published by the Times this Saturday.
Speaking to Charlotte Edwardes, in an article published by the Times magazine, Gayle claimed to have “a very, very big bat, the biggest in the world,” before he sarcastically added “You think you could lift it? You’d need two hands.” The comments sparked allegations of sexism and the man could once again be condemned for his act.
The reports also added that the Jamaican also made smutty comments during the interview which left everyone bewildered. He also pointed out, “Women should have equality and they do have equality. They have more than equality. Women can do what they want. Jamaican women are very vocal. They will let you know what time is it, for sure.”

[With a baby] then she doesn’t have to [cook]. We can stop and buy a meal. If she’s working, then the couple share. First person home, cooks.”
He also added, “women should please their man. When he comes home, food is on the table. Serious. You ask your husband what he likes and then you make it.” The comment is surely going to hurt the sentiments of many independent women across the globe.

Gayle back in form for RCB
The big-hitting West Indian is currently plying his trade in the IPL 2016 for the Royal Challengers Bangalore and recently he came back to form in the game against the Kolkata Knight Riders when he scored 49.
The pressure was mounting on him because of his incessant run of poor form with the bat and the big man silenced his critics in that game. He followed that up with another good knock against the Kings XI Punjab when he scored his first fifty of IPL 2016.
