Chris Gayle gifts Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and Yuvraj Singh a copy of his autobiography
One of the world’s most destructive batsmen, Chris Gayle, gave his RCB teammates Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers and friend Yuvraj Singh a special gift before he left for home post the IPL. It was a copy of his autobiography named ‘Six Machine: I Don’t Like Cricket... I Love It’, which got released a few days ago. Gayle made his gesture after the final of the 2016 IPL, where his team lost a close encounter against first-time champions Sunrisers Hyderabad in their home city of Bangalore.
The southpaw is known to share a special relationship with the members of his IPL team, especially with Kohli and de Villiers. He also has a number of good friends among players from the other franchises and Yuvraj is one of the prominent ones.

Gayle had a tame IPL season this year compared to the lofty standards he has set over the past few seasons. However, he threatened to almost single-handedly take the game away from SRH in the title clash as he tore apart their bowling attack before being dismissed for a 38-ball 76.
Just like some of his actions both on and off the field, Chris Gayle’s autobiography has also proved to be quite controversial. The swashbuckling batsman has taken aim at a lot of his detractors in the book and has also provided his side of the story on his recent controversies.
In a bid to promote the publication, Gayle took to Instagram and posted separate photos of him gifting a copy to his three IPL friends.

At 36, it may not be too long until Chris Gayle finally draws the curtains on what has been a glittering career. But at present, he seems to be enjoying the life of a cricketer in the best way possible.
