Chris Morris unavailable for IPL auction due to knee injury

Another player joins the list of players that were earlier included in the shortlist for players available for the upcoming auctions and have now been made unavailable. Chris Morris is the latest big name to drop out from the auctions, as per the IPL website.

The South African joins a list which already had big names like Eoin Morgan and Brad Haddin. The all-rounder was instrumental in last year’s Chennai Super King’s surge towards the IPL finals, and with a base price of Rs. 1 crore, he was set to be one of the most coveted stars in the auctions.

His unavailability has been attributed to an ankle injury, which is set to keep him out of action for six months.
