South African batsman AB de Villiers unleashed his wrath upon the Patriots bowlers the last time they faced each other, scoring 63 runs in 33 deliveries.
The 32-year-old will be expected to be at his best against the Patriots when they face each other in the next match. Wicket-keeper Nicholas Pooran could feature against the Patriots. Pooran has been maintaining a strike-rate of 143 in his T20 career so far.

Wayne Parnell has been the leading attack bowler for the Tridents and he will have to continue performing at his best for the remainder of this season. West Indies bowler Ravi Rampaul could be useful with the new ball and give the Tridents a breakthrough in the powerplay. Ashley Nurse and Imran Khan could lead the spin department.
Probable XI: Steven Taylor, Shoaib Malik, AB de Villiers, Nicholas Pooran (Wicket-keeper), Kieron Pollard (Captain), Raymon Reifer, David Wiese, Imran Khan, Akeal Hosein, Ravi Rampaul, Wayne Parnell.
St Kitts and Nevis Patriots:
West Indies opener Lendl Simmons could play a key role for the Patriots against the Tridents here. Skipper Faf du Plessis is yet to click for the Patriots in this season and needs to find his form with the bat soon. Devon Thomas has shown that he can play an attacking role and could be promoted to get some quick runs at the top of the order.
The Patriots can use the services of Thisara Perera, JJ Smuts and Jonathan Carter who can be useful with the bat and the ball. Perera failed to make an impact in the previous game when he was promoted and will need to do better against the Patriots.
Spinners Tabraiz Shamsi and Samuel Badree have been making the most of the opportunities, picking up wickets at regular intervals and doing sufficient damage to the opposition with the ball. Krishmar Santokie, meanwhile has been leading the attack with the new ball and has been keeping things tight.
Probable XI: Lendl Simmons, Evin Lewis, Faf du Plessis (Captain), Devon Thomas (Wicket-keeper), Thisara Perera, Shamarh Brooks, JJ Smuts, Jonathan Carter, Krishmar Santokie, Tabraiz Shamsi, Samuel Badree.
