Shane Watson finally came to the fore for the Zouks

Team News: 

The St Lucia Zouks had a comfortable win by 9 wickets in their previous game against the Guyana Amazon Warriors. The Warriors were put into bat first by the Zouks and were looking at a total above 170 before they were restricted to 159 for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs. Shane Watson bowled brilliantly in the final over, conceding just 1 runs and picking up 2 wickets against the Warriors. The Zouks chased down the total in 16 overs with Johnson Charles and Watson putting 151 runs together for the third wicket partnership. 

The Trinbago Knight Riders were defeated by the Jamaica Tallawahs in their previous match by 19 runs. The Tallawahs had set a target of 159 for the Knight Riders with Rovman Powell and Andre Russell scoring 44 runs each. In reply, the Knight Riders could manage 139 runs in their 20 overs with Hashim Amla top-scoring with 42 runs in 36 deliveries.

St Lucia Zouks: 

Batsmen: 

Opener Johnson Charles is currently the highest run-getter for the Zouks, scoring 260 runs in 7 matches at a strike-rate of 139 and also played a match winning innings of 94 in the previous game for the Zouks. Andre Fletcher had yet another disappointing game and should be looking to score runs against the Trinbago Knight Riders.

Shane Watson meanwhile had a good game against the Guyana Amazon Warriors, scoring 57 runs in 39 deliveries including 7 boundaries. Former Australian batsman Michael Hussey did not get a chance to play in the previous game and will be rearing to go against the Knight Riders. 

All-rounders: 

Shane Watson has been incredible for the Zouks in the bowling department as well, picking up 11 wickets in 7 games at an economy rate of 7.25 runs per over. With the inclusion Grant Elliot in the team, Skipper Sammy will be looking to exploit his option wisely for the benefit of the Zouks. 

Bowlers: 

Jerome Taylor bowled extremely well in the previous game, picking up a couple of wickets while conceding 26 runs in his 4 overs and has also picked 7 wickets in the 4 games that he has featured in so far for the Zouks. Left-arm fast bowler Delorn Johnson has also come good for the Zouks, picking up 4 wickets in 3 games and could play a key role against the Knight Riders.

Trinbago Knight Riders will be looking to Brendon McCullum to come out of his slump

Batsmen: 

Brendon McCullum has had a poor season so far for the Knight Riders, gathering only 54 runs in 5 innings, whereas Hashim Amla has been the leading run-scorer for the Knight Riders with 324 runs in 7 innings at a strike-rate of 124 including 3 fifties this season.

Colin Munro was disappointing in the previous match against the Tallawahs but has shown what he is capable of once he gets going for the Knight Riders. Umar Akmal is another player who has underperformed for the Knight Riders this season and will need to be at his best against the Zouks to hold his place in the team. 

All-rounders: 

Skipper Dwayne Bravo has been instrumental for the Knight Riders in the bowling department with his bowling variations, picking up 12 wickets in 7 games so far. Kevon Cooper bowled skillfully against the Tallawahs in the previous game, picking up 3 wickets for 22 runs in his 4 overs. 

Bowlers: 

Spinner Sunil Narine has been bowling well throughout this season for the Knight Riders, picking up 9 wickets in 7 games at an impressive economy rate of below 6 runs per over. Sulieman Benn was expensive in his previous match and will be expected to bounce back against the Zouks.

Prediction: The St Lucia Zouks have the momentum on their side and will be favorites against the Trinbago Knight Riders.
