The St Lucia Zouks face off against the Trinbago Knight Riders in this Eliminator match as the loser will not progress further into this tournament and the winner will play against the Jamaica Tallawahs for a spot in the Final of the CPL. The Zouks won their previous match against the Jamaica Tallawahs by 17 runs. The Zouks comfortably defended their total by 17 runs with some impressive bowling performances from Shane Watson and Shane Shillingford.
The Trinbago Knight Riders also won their previous match against the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots by 8 wickets. The Patriots could only manage a total of 138 in their 20 overs with Lendl Simmons top-scoring for the Patriots with 60 runs. Skipper Dwayne Bravo picked up 4 wickets for 13 runs in 4 overs as he bagged the Man of the Match award. Denesh Ramdin scored a fifty for the Knight Riders and ensured they got home with 3 overs to spare.

Good news for the Zouks as opener Andre Fletcher seems to have found his touch with the bat, scoring 70 runs in his previous match against the Tallawahs. Johnson Charles scored a fifty as well in his previous match and the Zouks will require good performances from these two batsmen as they head into the Eliminator.
Shane Watson hit 5 sixes against the Tallawahs, scoring 42 runs in just 17 deliveries at a strike-rate of 247 which is just what was expected of the veteran all-rounder in this season. With Grant Elliot and Darren Sammy to follows, the Zouks could manage to post yet another high total against the Knight Riders.

Shane Watson, Darren Sammy, and Grant Elliot are all useful bowlers and possess a range of variations in their bowling style. Watson is currently the highest wicket-taker for the Zouks this season with 12 wickets in 10 matches.
Bowlers:
West Indies bowler Jerome Taylor could play an important role against the Knight Riders as he can be lethal with the new ball. Delorn Johnson has made a great impact for the Zouks in such short time and has picked up 11 wickets in 6 matches.

Wicket-keeper Denesh Ramdin was given an opportunity to bat at the top of the order for the Knight Riders and did not disappoint as he scored his first fifty in this season.

Skipper Dwayne Bravo is currently the leading wicket-taker for the Knight Riders this season with 19 wickets in 10 matches at an economy rate of 8.35 runs per over. Bravo has even scored 169 runs at a strike-rate of 145.
Bowlers:
