India completed a famous victory over Australia in the ICC T20 World Cup 2016 and made their way into yet another semi-final of T20 cricket's marquee event. The Indians, however, did not have it easy as the Aussies put in their best effort and looked good to win at various stages of the match.
In the end, it took a special effort from ace batsman Virat Kohli, who once again proved his mastery in chasing down targets. His unbeaten 82 helped India win by 6 wickets and move one step closer to their 2nd T20 World Cup title.

Khawaja gives Australia the perfect start
Australia's opening batsman Usman Khawaja certainly gave the Indian team an early scare with the way he got after pacemen Ashish Nehra and Jasprit Bumrah. His 26 off just 16 balls included 6 boundaries and took the Aussie score to 53 in the first 4 overs.
Khawaja was timing the ball beautifully as he has done throughout the tournament and was particularly severe on youngster Bumrah. India, however, were fortunate that veteran pacer Nehra bagged him in the 5th over and Australia did not get any momentum post that.
