Watch: Dhoni blasts journalist at press conference post Bangladesh match

Indian skipper MS Dhoni is known to be Captain Cool both on and off the field. However, there was a completely different side of him on display at the post-match press conference for the India-Bangladesh encounter at the ICC T20 World Cup 2016.

The Indians emerged victorious on the night, but the win was far from convincing as the margin was just 1 run. Prior to the match, Dhoni had spoken to the media about how the team will be looking to improve on their net run-rate in the match against Bangladesh.

As it turned out, though, India's net run-rate remains rather low at -0.546 and they would now have to beat Australia to reach the semis. At the press conference yesterday, one of the journalists raised a question about this, only to be confronted with the wrath of the Indian captain.

"There was talk about winning easily, that we had to increase the net run rate, that we had to win by 50 runs. But you barely won," quipped the journalist. He also questioned Dhoni, "How happy are you with this performance?"

MS Dhoni was visibly livid at the inconsiderate nature of the question and took it on himself to give him a fitting response. He said, "You are unhappy that India won. Your voice, tone and question tells me that you are unhappy about it."

"And talking about cricket matches, they don't have a script. You have to analyse that after losing the toss, the pitch that we played on was the reason why we could not score big," Dhoni explained to the red-faced journalist. "If you are sitting outside and analysing, then you should not ask these questions," he added.

The Indian skipper's response was enough not to prompt any further over-critical questions from the media. This turned out to be an addition to the rare instances of MS Dhoni losing his cool in the public eye.
