Cricketers wish Tendulkar on his 40th birthday

Kolkata - The cyber world was abuzz with tweets as virtual wishes poured in from fellow cricketers via the popular social networking site, for master blaster Sachin Tendulkar as he turned 40 Wednesday.

Addressing Tendulkar as “little master”, Australian pacer Brett Lee wished him a “big birthday’”.

Veteran cricketer Vinod Kambli, affectionately called the batsmen “tendlya” as he tweeted “Wishing master blaster tendlya, A very happy birthday, 40 becoming naughty. god bless him n may he have a long n healthy life.enjoy ur day.”

Former Indian coach Gary Kirsten tweeted: “Happy Birthday @sachin_rt !!! #Legend.”

Pacer Ishant Sharma hailed Tendulkar as God of Cricket in his tweet that ran, “Wishing a very happy birthday to God of Cricket.No one can be like u ever. Have a great & wonderful year ahead.”

Chennai Super Kings batsmen Suresh Raina wrote. “To the Man who is a synonym of Cricket…… Happy Birthday paaji!”

Wishing the record-breaking cricketer “health and success”, Yuvraj Singh tweeted, “dear master blaster many happy returns of the day wishing you health and success always thank you god for this day regards.”

Dinesh Karthik said “Happy Birthday. You have and always will be the biggest inspiration to our country.”
