David Warner launches Twitter attack on journalists

Delhi Daredevils batsman David Warner could be in trouble after he had a spat with two Australian journalists on Twitter.

It all began when Robert Craddock (@crashcraddock1) wrote an article in News Limited newspaper about the IPL and its problems. In response, Warner sent Craddock a series of bitter tweets to which the latter didn’t reply. However, Craddock’s colleague Malcolm Conn (@malcolmconn) replied to Warner and thus began the Twitter war.

Craddock had launched a scathing attack on the IPL in his article in the aftermath of the ignominious spot-fixing scandal , dubbing the annual T20 event as “a smouldering cesspit” and “sunniest of places for the shadiest of people”.

Cricket Australia have said they are aware of the incident and are investigating the matter.
