David Warner scores hundred for Australia A
After having gone through a turbulent couple of months both on and off the field, David Warner scored a fluent century in Australia A’s tour of South Africa and Zimbabwe.
Australia A were 226-4 at tea during Day 1 of First Test of the unofficial Test series versus South Africa A. While David Warner remained unbeaten on 111 off 144 deliveries in a knock that was studded by 19 fours, opener Aaron Finch, too, showed some form as he scored a half century at the top of the order.
While the Australian batsmen have been faring miserably in England and find themselves 2-0 down in the Ashes with little hope of retribution, the players that were not selected seem to have found form. Australia seemed to have missed a trick here, and David Warner will be hoping that he builds on this performance.
