Dhoni 16th, Tendulkar 51st on Forbes's list of world's highest-paid athletes

MS Dhoni has gone up 15 positions to 16th on the Forbes’ list of world’s highest-paid athletes for 2013. He made it to the list in 2012 as well, ranked 31.

He has reportedly earned $31.5 million over the last year from prize money and endorsements. The Indian cricket captain has managed to topple some of the biggest names in sport presently, comprising the likes of Maria Sharapova (Tennis), Kevin Durant (Basketball), Fernando Alonso (F1), Lewis Hamilton (F1), Neymar (Football) and many more.

Indian batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar is the only other Indian who has made it to the list of 100. The little master has approximately raked in $22 million over the last year, and is ranked 51st on the list.
