Duleep Trophy semifinal and final to be played in Kerala

The Duleep trophy semifinal and final will be hosted by Kerala this year.

It is a proud occasion for Kerala who will be hosting the final of this all-India tournament for the first time ever. They have been awarded the semi final matches on three occasions in the past in 1983,85 and 2003.

The semi finals have been scheduled from Oct 10-13 and the final will be played at the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium in Kochi between 17-21 October.

This venue was decided upon during a meeting held in Chennai by the South Zone fixture committee.

This will be a shot in the arm for the Kerala cricket administration and an acknowledgement of the work that they have put in over the past decade.
