England all-rounder Stokes passed fit for second Proteas ODI

Ben Stokes during England training

England will have Ben Stokes available for the second one-day international against South Africa after the all-rounder was passed fit on Friday.

Stokes limped out of England's 72-run victory in the opening match with the Proteas on Wednesday due to a knee injury.

His early exit prompted concerns that he could miss the start of the ICC Champions Trophy, but the 25-year-old has been able to shake off the problem.

But, after coming through training unscathed, Stokes was declared fit to be part of Eoin Morgan's side and will be available to bowl.
